Why we are here Today,too much appreciation and value for material things has brought us all here. We don’t teach unity but diversity. We don’t encourage group work but individual challenges. Look at how our school and exam system is made, It teaches us selfishness. So when we grow the mindset becomes, each one for himself, Good for us all as they always quote No spirit of togetherness. No spirit of helping others to get there. Because we the same people have appreciated and encourage certain lifestyle as a norm/respect. If you don’t belong you lose your respect and class based on your wealth irrespective of being honourably earned or not. That’s what brought us here. Rare to find people like Nkrumah who represent the people, everything and whatever there is, is supposed to be for the people. How do you expect a student who went through this selfish education system to finish and start thinking about the people. when this same person had been through stressful educational lifestyle just to finish his or her education at any given stage(they will expect the church to take that responsibility of teaching them morals) hard examinations and failures along with certain traditional sayings,Our lifestyle, education system and culture all teaches selfishness. That’s my personal study of our Ghanaian problem. Until we stop relying on the church and teach real unity and team work in school each politician will keep being selfish because it’s not their fault. Our system shaped them.

Did you know that in Ghana government offices rendering services to the public and for that they are being paid, would still take money from you the citizen before serving you with whatever you came for or to accomplish ends they will stress you!! This has been a cancer introduced by the old men and women who went on pension already. And it continues…The country with the most useless leaders and subordinates is Ghana. Where government workers who are being paid to offer services would still take money from the person they are offering services to.
