🙌Last week Hochiki Europe HQ welcomed Japanese students who were in the UK as part of the Annual Exchange programme run by The Medway Japan Friendship Association.

For those of you who don't know, Hochiki Europe HQ is located in Gillingham in Medway, Kent and are partnered with Ito and Yokosuka in Japan.

Managing Director Shin Kubo spent time meeting the students and showing them around the factory.

We hope that all of the students involved in the programme had a fabulous time!

Following a devastating fire that destroyed its original facilities in 2009, St Jude's Hospital has been rebuilt and is now protected by an enhanced life safety system.

🎉Today we welcomed our 2,000th Hochiki Training Academy member to HQ for the practical element of the FIREscape Nepto Course.🎉

Our Senior Technical Support Engineer Phil Green presented Ricky Wyatt of Blake Contractors Limited with a Hamper to celebrate this milestone.

When we created the Hochiki Training Academy a couple of years ago we had no idea how successful it would be. The online courses have meant that Engineers spend less time off the road while still receiving top-class, free product training be that solely online or split between online and in person.
