Windows 8.1 has ended support. But not to worry, if the computer has a good processor, it simply needs a new hard drive to speed it up and an upgrade to windows 10 to give it a new lease of life.

Bring it on by and it could be sorted within the day!
Prices are £60-90 depending on size required.

The new iPhone SE only comes with a black screen, if you unfortunately break it; why not replace it with a white one?
I think it looks far better!

(Possible due to it using the same screens as the iPhone 8 )

New iPhones released! Here's the low-down:

Interesting: the iPhone 12 mini. It's the phone all of you still clinging onto your 5S's and SE's have been craving! Tiny handed people rejoice! With an up to date full screen display it will suit those not wanting giant phones in their pockets.

All rounder: The regular 12, middle size between the XR/11 and 12 pro. About 90% as good as the top end in most aspects. This will probably be the best seller. As the 11 was before it.

Bestest: the new "one to have" is the 12 Pro max at a cool £1100, best of what apple can make. New square edged design, different camera and finally bringing the look up to date after 3 long years

Value: iPhone SE, still great value for a brand new phone in the old style form factor.

Value+: iPhone XR, new big phone shape, lower cost as it's 2 years old now. Still good.

Don't bother with the 11, either save some money and get an XR or go up and get the latest 12.

PSA - SCAMS:
2 people this week have been into my shop, victims of FRAUD thinking they were on the phone to Microsoft or TalkTalk or BT and they've taken £1000's

THESE COMPANIES WILL NEVER CALL YOU ASKING FOR MONEY. IT IS A SCAM.

If anybody calls you with an Indian accent saying they're from these companies or ones like them. HANG UP.
If you then want to see if it was real. RING THE COMPANY DIRECTLY to see if there are any issues.

It may only be £5 you're sending, but they CHANGE THE AMOUNT and record your BANK DETAILS so they can send MORE!

NEVER SEND MONEY or GIFT CARDS OVER THE PHONE!!!!!!!

If this has happened to you, ring the fraud department of your bank IMMEDIATELY or if you need assistance come into my shop for help, I don't charge anything in these situations.

Be safe and critical of every phone call you get. If you have ANY doubts at all. Don't be British about it and be polite, HANG UP THAT PHONE! You could be saving £1000's.

New iPhone's came out today.
Here's a quick run-down of everything you'd need to know.

No more old style phones in the line-up.
The XR is an upgrade to the 8, not the X, comes in lots of colours.
Starts at £750, single camera, not dual, a lot thicker, and it doesn't have a FullHD display, and its got thicker bezels as it's cheaper LCD not OLED, you'll be watching youtube at 720p.

The XS is an upgrade to the X. Same screen, slightly more waterproof, slightly faster, slightly better camera, usual incremental stuff, nothing to write home about.
Starts at £1000. Just get last years X and save some money.

The XS MAX is a bigger version of it, should be called PLUS if they kept to old naming scheme. Bigger screen and battery, no other goodies.
Starts at £1100.

At the end of the day, they're still way too expensive, classic Apple!
If you have to have one. Last years X or the new XR are the ones to go for.

Are you paying over £25 for your internet and landline?

Well you shouldn't be!!!

If you don't need 'fibre' and only make a few phone calls a month. Providers such as talktalk are just £21 a month!!

Pop in with your Bill and I'll be happy to help explain it to you and reduce it.

I have a lot of customers paying upwards of £40 for packages they don't need or use. Companies don't care about their customers any more. Switch and save £thousands :)
