SPG Innovation & Technologies are really proud to have supported the Your Local Friend initiative by sponsoring copies of the book for young people at Galashiels Academy.
It was great to hear directly from the team about why they created the book and the personal experiences that inspired it. What really stood out was their vision for it to remain a living resource, shaped by future generations of young people so it stays relevant, relatable and genuinely useful.
At SPG, supporting young people in our local communities is something that really matters to us, so being able to play a small part in an initiative like this was a real pleasure.
A fantastic idea, created by young people for young people, and we’re delighted to have been involved, our Technical Director Craig Renton visited Galashiels Academy alongside the Your Local Friend Team on their tour.
