Unfortunately Sketch Lisa Designs is no longer operating.

Despite trying really hard to build something that would support local businesses and build my own business after being made redundant, it hasn’t worked.

I can sadly no longer put time and effort into something that makes zero money. I have run out of savings, cannot pay basic bills like rent and still don’t have an answer on my claim for help from DWP. This means I am likely to lose my home in the next month.

I now need to concentrate on downsizing and selling as much as I can for when I get moved out of my home.

Thanks to those that did support. It is much appreciated.

Would you like to own a piece of my original artwork? I have updated my website today with my latest artwork. You can also buy prints of each piece which are all hand printed here in my studio at home.

Stormy start to the day today!

I worked so hard to make art, gifts and stationery that I thought people would love. It’s heartbreaking to spend days preparing for a show only to sell one greetings card and a fridge magnet.

All in all today’s event made me a loss and I’m devastated that it didn’t work.

I’m going to take some time away from all this and think about what I want to do. It’s clear my products have no appeal and I need to think about how best to tackle this. At the minute I feel like a total failure.

They’re a great friendly bunch with some of the best Brisket and Pastrami this Brit has ever seen. Check them out!
