If your computer fights back, if it’s refusing to do what you want, you need this FREE Computer Clinic
Emmanuel Church West, the church in the heart of the West Fleetwood Community, wants to offer the help and expertise of its members to you and your computer, phone or tablet. If your computer fights back, if it’s refusing to do what you want, if you wish you understood it better, or you are just
plain stuck, come along and get some FREE advice and help. Regularly on Monday nights from 2 December 2013, the church will host a drop-in session at Rossall Tavern, Larkholme Parade from 7:30pm to 9:30pm and local residents are invited to bring their computer, phone, tablet and/or your problem. They can’t promise to solve all your problems but they will have a good try – just come along. Dave Carlos, a local resident who has been involved with home computers and gadgets for over 30 years, was the Editor of Home Computing Weekly in the 1980’s. “I love seeing people get the best out of these complex and frankly, not very friendly machines. I have founded Computer Clubs in other parts of the country but since moving to Fleetwood last year, I’ve realised the need for a local ‘clinic’ or advice session.”
“I’m thrilled that Ashley, the new landlord of Rossall Tavern, also has the vision for such a local drop-in facility so he’s offered to host our sessions. What better atmosphere can there be than a friendly local where we can be relaxed and enjoy good company,” said Dave. As a member of the newly created Emmanuel Church West, which meets in the Rossall Tavern on the first Sunday of each month, Dave will be supported by other members of the church as they try to help and support computer and gadget users.
