Yayzi Broadband Rolls Out IPv6 Network-Wide�

Yayzi Broadband is proud to announce the launch of IPv6 across our entire network a significant step toward future-proofing our infrastructure and enhancing network performance, scalability, and connectivity.�

IPv6 is now live and will be rolled out to all Yayzi customers in the coming days. This upgrade brings expanded IP address availability and improved network efficiency.�

The changes will be deployed in a rolling schedule, beginning in the early hours of Monday 21st July, and should be completed by the following morning (that is, 0800 Tuesday 22nd).�

During this time, as your connection is moved to the IPv6 enabled configuration, you may lose access to your internet service for up to 10 minutes. This is normal and expected - please do not raise a ticket, your connection will return automatically.�

No Action Needed for Most Customers�If you're unsure what IPv6 is or whether you need it, rest assured—no action is required. Your existing connection will continue to function as normal.�

For Customers Using Non-Yayzi Routers
If you are using a third-party router, please consult your router manufacturer for IPv6 setup instructions.

Enabling IPv6 on Yayzi-Supplied Routers
�To enable IPv6 on a Yayzi-supplied router:
1 Log into your router.
2 Go to the Advanced page.
3 Click on the Network tab (left side), then select Internet.
4 Under “Modify,” click the pencil and paper icon.
5 Scroll to the IPv6 section and check the tick box.
6 Click OK at the bottom to save your settings.
7 Reboot your router to apply the changes.

Please Note: IPv6 is fully tested across our network and on all Yayzi-supplied routers. However, at this time, Yayzi will provide only limited technical support for IPv6 configuration and does not support individual software application setups for IPv6.

When i first came across Yayzi it was a fledgling business finding its feet, a little lost but still looking for a home. I bumped into by chance online about internet speed. I had a chat with the team and it was clear they needed support so i reached out regards investment and I came on board, they had big ideas bigger than their means and in a delicate position, so re established the existing team and restructured the business, realigned the internal process and doubled the business revenue within a few weeks.

It was clear the team had little business experience and was making poor decisions although skilled on the side of the internet and how its works, initially came on as marketing, but the role required more of my input, so after pushing forward all aspects of the business and building relationships to on board other altnets and leverage the support from our main partner CityFibre and drive sales, i moved Operations then onto CEO. It was never my initial intention in an industry I have not been in before, but like my other businesses and being self employed since the age of 20 i knew that having core values, good ethics and business acumen, that although the product changes, the principles remain the same.

We have an office base i personally built, with room for expansion and warehouse space to give the business a home, a place to learn, grow, thrive, develop and build. I've ran a business from a spare desk in my house and grew the largest local media of its kind, so know that a fancy office is not the most important thing, how you represent yourself has more value than anything flash, that value i carry with me and cannot be purchased.

We pushed the business to become the first multigig provider in the UK to over 3million homes with our partner at CityFibre, a first for little old us, as i still think of us as small business putting in foundations, even though we have taken the business from struggling to bill its customers each month at a few grand a month when i first joined them, to over a 7 figure turnover. I brought in key personal to the business to from tech support, online marketing and rebranding of the business and website and brought in small investment in when needed to move to our own servers.

In business you will have challenges and sometimes with those that work closest to you, i still had questions to be answered, details to be confirmed, contracts to be verified. All i ask for as i give is full transparency and unfortunately it wasn't reciprocated and as things became clear, we had to part company as it went against all business ethics and codes of practice.

When you have drive and belief in your product with the right intentions, knowing you can meet the needs of your business, makes things happen and opens doors of opportunity. Through initial doubt, drive and belief is taking us forward to more exciting things... We don't create obstacles, we remove hurdles.
