PLEASE CHECK YOUR FUSES
It seems to me that many manufacturers (especially those in China) do not appear to understand the correct use of fuses in UK 13A plugs. For some reason, they fit a 13A fuse, regardless of the appliance to which it is connected. Please do yourself a favour and check the power consumption of each device and fit the appropriate fuse.
As a general rule of thumb, Up to 300W = 2A fuse
Up to 500W = 3A fuse
Up to 1000W = 5A fuse
Over 1000W = 13A fuse
Also please remember that the wattage shown above is for the consumption of the device and not (in the case of an amplifier) the output power
