It's our anniversary! Mondas are celebrating another year today and while we reflect on a fantastic year of growth, our attention is firmly on what’s next. We’ve got big plans, bigger goals, and the best team in the business to make them happen. Cake and a table tennis tournament for the team in our Farnborough office to mark the occasion, building our competitive spirit for an evening of activities.

Marking Cybersecurity Awareness Month, our team joined in with the Huntress Capture The Flag (CTF) challenge. We ranked 177th out of 6,869 teams and nearly 10,000 players globally. We love a good puzzle and the chance to sharpen our skills but this competition also served as a reminder of the wide ranging threat potential out there.

Mondas takes on Capture the Flag with Surrey Cyber Security Cluster. This Halloween, the Mondas Consulting security team is trading tricks for ethical hacks!

The challenge kicked off at the Login Business Lounge, with BAE Systems opening the event. We joined network peers to sharpen our technical skills, collaborate, and compete with some of the best cyber security specialists around. At last count, we were in 2nd out of 24 teams right behind previous event podium winners from Cyber Security Society - Royal Holloway, but with 2 more days we're shooting for first place!

We loved celebrating Take Your Dog To Work Day with a special guest today, Toby joined the Mondas team, bringing a wagging tail and enthusiasm for a lunchtime walk and cuddles. His bark might be bigger than his bite but it could well prove to be a pretty strong firewall! 🐾

Huge thanks to Farnborough Business Park for organising an awesome BBQ last week! The Mondas team had a fantastic time enjoying delicious food, great company, and even met some visiting alpacas. And of course, Toby, our office dog, wouldn’t have missed out!

The good times kept rolling - we swapped desks for fairways, and traded emails for eagles 🏌️☀️ A perfect day to unwind, connect and see who could walk away with the crown 👑!

A sell out 52,000 capacity given access to the stadium Wi-Fi ✔️
Broadcast to millions around the world ✔️
Human error at its finest ✔️

During the 2nd test over the weekend, broadcasters caught the private stadium Wi-Fi and password in the background of a shot on Eddie Jones.

Viewers inside the stadium who caught the shot were quick to capitalise given the notoriously poor phone signal you receive inside a sports stadium.

Human error is still one of the most common ways allowing hackers into your IT estate and its easy to see why!
