Sent the wrong attachment? Or sent it to the wrong person?
With a standard email, the sender has limited control once the message has left the outbox.
Mailock lets senders revoke access to protected content after sending. Message tracking also helps establish whether that content has been accessed, so the team can decide what to do next.
Revocation cannot undo what somebody has already saved or seen. But it gives the sender a containment option when a sensitive communication should no longer remain available.
ICO guidance says organisations responding to a personal data breach should try to contain the incident and recover affected data where possible.
Revocation does not replace a breach-response process but it does give teams a practical control that can be used immediately.
