🎨 DPI vs Resolution: What's the difference?

If you're selling art prints, understanding your file resolution can make a big difference to the final print.

Resolution refers to the number of pixels in your artwork, while DPI refers to how those pixels are reproduced when printed. For high quality art prints, we generally recommend working with 300 DPI or higher where possible.

A file can say 300 DPI but still be too small to produce a large, sharp print if it doesn't contain enough pixels to begin with.

We can check your artwork before printing and advise on the best size for your file

A good file = a great print. 🖨️🎨

If you are an artist who produces figurative or representative artwork, are age 18-41, have studied an art discipline; you could be eligible for a $17k grant to support your new application to an art course and continued art practice. There is a current cycle open for applications, which closes on the 28th of April.
