Creativity in full bloom 💐

For our recent team day, we swapped our desks for the beautiful East Devon countryside as we headed to Sanctuary Flowers for an afternoon of flower picking.

From delicate petals to bold bursts of colour, we enjoyed wandering amongst the seasonal blooms and handpicking our favourites to create one-of-a-kind bouquets.

We certainly filled our vases along with lots of laughter, fresh air and quality time together.

And the best part? Beautiful blooms to brighten our homes afterwards!

Harvesting the work of a great summer! 🍓🪴🫜

Over the summer, our team have been getting green-fingered growing flowers, fruit and vegetables.

It’s a lovely reminder that growth takes time, care and the right environment to flourish.

So, as we swap summer for that fresh September energy, we’re taking a little of what we’ve learnt from our gardens with us into the rest of the year – from nurturing new ideas to embracing growth opportunities and seeing what we can create together at gm.

Happy 10 Year Work Anniversary, Hannah! 🎉

This month, Hannah celebrates an INCREDIBLE 10 years with us! And what a fabulous decade it’s been, as Hannah shares:

“It doesn’t feel like I’ve been at gm. for 10 years, which is a real testament to my amazing colleagues and fulfilling work. The gm. team have supported me every step of the way, both professionally and through some of life’s biggest moments – getting engaged, getting married (during a blizzard!), moving house and having 3 children. I genuinely feel so lucky to work with such fantastic people and in such an inspiring industry. Here’s to the next 10 years!”

Thank you, Hannah, for always bringing your sunshine energy to the gm. team ☀️

A huge thank you to our wonderful work experience student, Leah from The Maynard School, for spending time with us at gm-design!

It was a pleasure sharing what goes on behind the scenes, answering questions and inspiring a new creative at the start of her journey.

We enjoyed hearing Leah’s fabulous feedback about her time with us, “I absolutely loved my work experience. Throughout it I felt supported and learnt so much.”

Thank you again, Leah! We’re wishing you all the very best for the future 💛 ⭐️

We love expanding our skills here at gm-design, and our team day last week was the perfect way to do just that!

A BIG thank you to Jo and Andrew at ConkerAI for delivering such an engaging and bespoke workshop ⭐️ 💡 🚀

Just as important to us is enjoying time together over a leisurely lunch – this time at The Quay in Exeter.

From Exeter to Hamburg ✈️ 🇩🇪

It was terrific to see clients in person and talk about all things hair. We also made time to take in the sights and enjoy the inspiring city culture.

Girls on tour…complete with Barbie dolls, at the adorable request of Kelly’s 7-year-old daughter 💕
