There are strong parallels with the values we see in our own business too: teamwork, commitment, resilience, and supporting one another.

Our support is a natural extension of Elite’s Win Together value - recognising that being part of a community also means playing our part in it. 💙

Bank Holiday Monday feels like an appropriate time to reflect on something that has become an important part of working at Elite - our four-day week.

The pattern has been in place for some time, but it remains one of the changes that has made a real difference to our people.

The extra day gives our teams more time for family, hobbies, appointments, and the things that matter outside of work, helping to create a better balance between work and home. ⚖️

The benefits have extended beyond wellbeing too.

Moving to a four-day working week has contributed to a 20% reduction in our carbon emissions, supporting our wider commitment to reducing our environmental impact.

For us, it is a good example of how doing things differently can deliver benefits in more ways than one - for our people and for the planet. 💙

At Elite, we continue to look at practical ways to improve energy efficiency and reduce our environmental impact. 🌱

At our Enniskillen site, electricity accounts for around 86-89% of the energy we use, so we have installed meters across the facility to monitor energy consumption and identify where improvements could be made.

Moving from fluorescent lighting to LED reduced lighting consumption by 50%, while the 466 solar panels installed last year are expected to reduce our annual reliance on grid electricity by around 18%. We have also introduced a heat recovery system to reuse waste heat generated by our compressors.

Together, these initiatives have reduced our average weekly energy consumption from 51,604 kWh to 46,858 kWh - a 9.2% saving.

𝑫𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 is one of our core values, and this is another example of putting that into practice.

At Elite, 𝑫𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 is one of our core values. 🌍

As part of our ongoing commitment to reducing our environmental impact, this year we have retired carbon credits equivalent to 216 tonnes of CO₂e, supporting projects in Uruguay, Colombia, and Southern Ethiopia.

These projects are helping to restore degraded land, support biodiversity, and improve access to safe drinking water for local communities.

Since 2021, Elite has supported 11 carbon projects, retiring a total of 1,294 tonnes of CO₂e in carbon credits.

Another step in our commitment to 𝑫𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 for our people, our communities, and our planet. 🌱

Our most recent sponsorship sees us supporting Spire Rangers. ⚽🏆

Spire Rangers U10 Blues travelled to Doncaster for the Warren Park Rangers tournament, competing a year above their age group.

They won every game against seven other teams before going on to win the final without conceding a goal.

A brilliant achievement and a fantastic start in the new Elite kit. Congratulations all! 👏

This morning our U10's Blues travelled to Doncaster to play in the Warren Park Rangers tournament. They won their age group final without conceding a goal 🥳💙
