What do 36 African elephants have to do with sustainability? 🐘🌍

They help bring the scale of a rather large figure to life!

This year, Elite has offset 216 tonnes of CO₂, equivalent in weight to approximately 36 adult African elephants.

Alongside supporting carbon offsetting projects, we continue to reduce our environmental impact through improvements in energy efficiency, solar generation, and waste management across our three UK manufacturing sites. 🌍

Sustainability is about the decisions we make and the actions we take to make a difference.

At Elite, our commitment to 𝑫𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 is about more than reducing our environmental impact. 🌍

This year, we are supporting the Community Protected Springs project in Southern Ethiopia as part of our carbon offsetting activity.

By repairing broken boreholes, the project is helping local communities:

- access safe drinking water
- improve health and wellbeing
- reduce the time spent collecting firewood, giving women more time for other activities

A strong example of environmental action delivering wider social benefits for the communities involved.

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒑𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒕𝒂𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒓 𝒊𝒔 𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌 - 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒂 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒆! 👻🏃‍♂️🎃

Elite is proud to sponsor the medals for the Enniskillen Spooktacular 5K and Mini Spook this October, marking our fourth year supporting the event.

With 1,600 runners signed up for the 5K and 300 for the Mini Spook, both races sold out within minutes – a fantastic reflection of the support the Spooktacular receives from across the local community.

We are delighted to play our part again this year in an event that brings people together, encourages people to get active, and creates such a great atmosphere in Enniskillen.

Members of Team Elite will also be taking part, and we are looking forward to seeing them join runners of all ages on the night. We cannot wait to see the costumes either! 🎃👻

It is a great example of our 𝑾𝒊𝒏 𝑻𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 value in action - both within Elite and across the wider community.
