We loved bringing this brilliant cohort together to design, build and launch our next gamified learning experience. From plans to functional, playable tech, watching everyone level up their skills has been unmatched.

Stellar Elevate Summer Placements have officially kicked off! 😎🔆

We are thrilled to welcome 9 incredible young people to Tynecastle Park for our Summer Placement Programme, where they’ll collaborate, design, build and launch our next gamified learning experience.

From mastering the full project lifecycle, to taking their ideas from concept to code; they are diving headfirst into gaining the digital and tech skills to boost their CVs and build real-world portfolios.

A huge thank you to everyone who shared this opportunity to help support the next generation of tech talent. We can't wait to showcase what this talented cohort creates!

Instead of standard textbooks, we got stuck into real, honest conversations with Police Scotland about the hard stuff affecting youth today including knife crime stats, school fights, online bullying, and navigating the manosphere.

Through interactive tasks and teamwork puzzles, we gave the young people practical tools to identify when actions can become threatening and seriously dangerous—but in a safe, controlled environment where they can then ask the experts around the room, get the right support, and get real answers.

Last week, our Stellar Elevate team had the privilege of collaborating with Police Scotland at the Edinburgh Youth Safety Summit, delivering high-impact safety and digital literacy escape room to over 150 young people. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿✨

We believe in equipping the next generation with the practical tools and resilience they need to navigate modern challenges. During the summit, our team tackled critical real-world issues through interactive sessions:

📌 Unpacking knife crime statistics through honest, open dialogue.
📌Teaching young people how to spot the exact moment online behaviour crosses the line from "nasty" to genuinely threatening.
📌Using collaborative puzzles to build communication and problem-solving skills.

The response was incredible: "Your workshop was really well received, I managed to speak with most of the teachers and a good proportion of the young people in attendance and all reflected on how much they had enjoyed your session."

🤝 This initiative is a perfect example of how Stellar Elevate partners with services, local authorities and corporate networks to drive measurable social impact. We are actively looking to expand this footprint and bring the Elevate programme to more communities.

We recently teamed up with Jude from the
Cyber Fraud Centre Scotland to deliver our immersive Cyber Escape Room experience for the incredible team at Arnold Clark!

Over two days and across two locations, we traded the showroom floor for a digital lockdown as part of their Cyber Awareness training days. It’s one thing to talk about security threats, but it’s another thing entirely to watch teams from all areas of the business collaborate under pressure to solve tasks while picking up vital skills along the way. We even saw one team smash our previous record by finishing in under 10 minutes!

A massive thank you to everyone at Arnold Clark for participating. We are thrilled the team found the sessions both "fun and insightful." It’s proof that the best way to learn is to move beyond traditional training and dive into a hands-on environment where cyber-awareness and problem-solving skills are put to the ultimate test.

Our Stellar Elevate team recently delivered the Cyber Escape Room for Arnold Clark, bringing teams from across the business together to tackle security challenges against the clock.

These sessions are a powerful way for any sector, from automotive, banking and Building Societies to Utilities and the Public Sector to build a proactive security culture through hands-on problem-solving. Importantly, this work supports our circular social impact model. Every business that invests in our training enables us to provide the same experience to local schools for free, reinvesting digital skills back into the community.

This week has been a timely reminder of why we do what we do.

Reflecting on UK ITC Awareness Day yesterday, we’ve been looking at the Impact Stellar Elevate has had on young people.

Over the last two years, we have scaled our impact across the UK by turning vision into tangible action:

💡We launched two 6-week Software Testing (ISTQB) programmes at full capacity, resulting in 7 fully funded hires at Stellar Omada.

💡Our Digital Escape Rooms have reached nearly 3000+ young people. We are now branching further into communities and businesses alongside our friends at NatWest Thrive and SmartSTEMs to bring immersive, gamified cyber learning across the UK.

💡We’ve delivered 3 STEM-focused sessions at the HeartofMidlothianFC Innovation Centre, including Fans of the Future and Digital Timeline.

💡We’ve hosted 18 Summer Placements over 2 years, with returnees already joining us in permanent roles, including a Business Analyst and RFPA.

What started with a focus on opening doors outside the classroom has evolved into a movement of career transformation, and more as we expand into organisations.

Which has brought us to tonight, Stellar Elevate is a finalist for two categories at the UK FinTech Awards - Team of the Year & Best ESG Campaign.
