Some of the latest updates allow businesses to create custom agents using approved company information and selected website sources, automate repetitive tasks and work more efficiently with documents, emails and data.

As AI adoption grows, organisations place strong focus on security, permissions and data protection.

In an ideal world, strong security controls would stop cyber incidents before they ever impact the business.

You may remember Marks & Spencer experiencing a cyber incident that made national headlines.

But did you know that 43% of UK businesses experienced a cyber security breach or attack in the last 12 months?

For smaller organisations, the impact can be just as serious, or even more devastating, because internal resources are often far more limited.

What would actually happen inside your organisation if systems suddenly became unavailable, staff could not access files or unusual activity was detected across the business?

Ensure your team is prepared for cyber incidents with a Cyber Incident Readiness Exercise. Test your response plans and improve organisational resilience.

Some people choose less secure passwords... like their favourite football team or "Password123".

And they're just waiting to be let down because the passwords are insecure.

It's ! A quick reminder to strengthen your online security:

1️⃣ Never reuse passwords
2️⃣ Add numbers, symbols and capitals
3️⃣ Use passphrases
4️⃣ Turn on 2FA/MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication)
5️⃣ Use a password manager

Strong passwords and MFA are also key parts of Cyber Essentials and help protect businesses against common cyber attacks.

The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) now officially recommends passkeys as the preferred, more secure alternative to traditional passwords.

Great to spend time with the team at Halo this week. It was a pleasure to have you in our Edinburgh office 🎙️

A big thank you to Andrew and Joe for joining us and sharing their insights.

We recorded a couple of podcast episodes and had some useful sessions with our team, discussing the challenges a CRM can help address.

We talked through managing sales, marketing, customer relationships, contacts and projects. As businesses grow, it becomes harder to stay on top of it all.

We also looked at how platforms like HaloCRM bring everything together, from pipeline management through to projects and service delivery. These kinds of solutions help businesses work more efficiently and give them the visibility they need to make better, more informed decisions.
