🚴♀️ launch Women and Girls Strategy during Scottish Women and Girls Week.
We have spent the last few weeks helping the team at Scottish Cycling design and produce the collateral for the new Women and Girls Strategy and Action plan. It was great to witness the launch of the strategy earlier this week at . A well-conceived and well-balanced event, the local cycling community were there as well as , Minister for Social Care, Mental Wellbeing and Holl, Sport and Paralympic Champion. Of course, there were the all-important speeches, reflecting on the good work done to date and commitments for the future.
Brand Oath Managing Director, .sb
“My highlight was the Q and A session towards the end. At Brand Oath we work with a lot with organisations with the objective to increase participation and get people active, particularly in historically harder to reach communities. The quantity, the authenticity, the humour, and the insightful nature of questions the girls fired at Jenny woke me from my well-meaning but maybe, ever so slightly, routine way of thinking. Witnessing the interaction, hearing the insights and feeling the natural chemistry between Jenny and the girls, I came away smiling, motivated and refocussed on the task in hand.”
The power of a good strategy from a committed governing body, a visionary leader in government, amazing athlete personalities and most importantly, the pure infectious motivation and joy the young female cycling enthusiasts bring, we believe the sport of cycling is in strong female hands.
