We had a great morning at the Boroughmuir Business Club yesterday!

We were delighted to have the opportunity to present on Connecting Communities, exploring how digital connectivity can improve lives and bring people together, creating stronger, more connected communities.

Mel Buchanan, our Chief Revenue Officer, and Louise Thompson, our Commercial Director, shared their thoughts and insights on how connectivity can make a real difference to people, businesses and communities.

NEWS: Commsworld has strengthened its long-standing support for Boroughmuir Rugby by renewing two key sponsorship deals with the Edinburgh club.

Commsworld is backing Boroughmuir’s Arnold Clark Men's National League 1 first team for a further year, as well as committing to two more years supporting their hugely successful Boroughmuir Banshees girls squads.

The latest agreements sit alongside Commsworld’s existing sponsorship of the Boroughmuir Rugby Academy, which has a further two years to run.

Mel Buchanan, Chief Revenue Officer of Commsworld, said: “We are proud of our long association with Boroughmuir Rugby and are delighted to renew and extend our support for the club – its first team, the Banshees and the academy.

What an amazing Company Day we had last week!

It was a brilliant day bringing everyone together to celebrate our people, our achievements and everything we’ve been working towards. With our ‘Rise of the Empires’ theme, the day was packed with fun, challenges and plenty of team activities throughout.

A huge congratulations to Billy Blyth-Lafferty, Shaun Campbell and Robert Hartley, all very well deserved.

NEWS: Louise Thompson joins Commsworld as its new Commercial Director.

Louise takes up the newly-created role at the Scottish-headquartered business to assist in strengthening and evolving its commercial offering to both public and private sector customers.Louise will work with Commsworld’s Board and leadership team in strategic decision-making and develop innovative models that create long-term value for customers, and the citizens they serve, as well as partners and suppliers.

Louise said: “Commsworld is a fantastic company. Not only does it combine ambitious growth with strong values and a genuine commitment to making a positive difference, it is also clear to me that this is a business that takes social value seriously and puts purpose alongside performance.”
