It was great to be out at Mo Fest this weekend, meeting so many local people and seeing so many of you enjoying the festival - and loving the tunes!

A special thank you to , volunteers and everyone who stopped by to say hello and pick up some GoFibre merch along the way.

And specially great when Darren, from our community engagement team, got to meet headliner and Scottish Young Live Artist of the Year

Montrose, you were fantastic! Thank you for having us. 🫶

It’s National Smile Day 😁

So here’s your wee reminder that life’s a bit better when you smile more, laugh more, and don’t take yourself to serious. Even if that means ending up on social media doing a dance you instantly regret. 💚

Happy National Smile Day from the GoFibre team!

Right… this might be your sign to finally dust off the bikes this weekend!

Digby’s been doing a bit of digging again and we’ve pulled together a few cracking family-friendly cycling routes across Scotland. Nothing to serious. Just easy paths, good views, a bit of fresh air, and a decent chance the kids might actually sleep early after it. 😜

📍Tweedbank ➡️ Melrose
Flat, easy and class on a sunny day

📍Lochore Meadows
Plenty of space to let them burn of some energy

📍Dundee Green Circular
Good one because you can make it as short or long as you fancy

📍Longniddry ➡️ Gullane
Coastal views nearly the whole way

📍Deeside Way, Banchory
One of those spots that makes you appreciate leaving here a wee bit more

📍Inch Park, Perth
Flat, calm and ideal if you’ve got the younger ones in tow

Save this for later and make sure to give us a follow for more local finds across Scotland.

The only thing better than switching to our super-duper-ultra-crazy-fast broadband? Joining us through the link: https://gofibre.co.uk/plushie/ and getting your hands on one of our ridiculously cute limited edition Mini Digbys 💚

These wee furry gophers get delivered straight to your door, complete with a handwritten note from the team. They’ve been flying out the door already, so if you want one…don’t hang about. Once they’re gone, they’re gone 🫡

PS: He’s a gopher. Not a beaver. Digby wanted us to clear that up immediately.

POV: we just landed at the Greenyards!
The Howden Melrose Sevens is finally here, and we’re buzzing to be part of it.
We’ll be around all weekend with freebies… and hopefully a bit of sunshine too.

This is always one of the best weekends in the Borders calendar. The buzz around Melrose is just class ❤️ and we love getting out and meeting the communities we serve face to face.

If you spot us, come say hello 👋

GoFibre is growing quickly, but we’re still the same Borders-born business that started back in 2017 with a simple goal... bringing better broadband to communities that had been overlooked for far too long 💚

Fast forward a few years and we’ve been named Scotland’s fastest growing broadband provider. You’ll still find us out and about chatting to residents, knocking doors, holding events, and helping more communities get connected to proper full fibre broadband.

The local side of things matters to us just as much as the broadband itself.

We're also proud to be the chosen supplier delivering broadband infrastructure across the Borders and East Lothian as part of Project Gigabit, the UK government programme helping bring gigabit capable broadband to hard-to-reach communities, managed in Scotland by the Scottish Government.

So what is full fibre broadband and why is it such a great thing to have?

Watch Ellis Baverstock, our community engagement executive for the south of Scotland, explain more.

And if you fancy joining us, visit gofibre.co.uk or say hello when the team gives your door a wee knock 👋

Turns out you can get city-speed broadband without actually living in the city.
Across North East Scotland, some of the first homes and businesses in Angus, Perth & Kinross and Aberdeenshire are now officially going live on the GoFibre network 💚

Families, farmers and local businesses in places like Ezdell, Inverbervie and Longforgan are among the first connected, with Auchenblae and Letham also expected to go live later this month. And honestly, this is what it’s all about for us.

Helping rural communities stay connected, helping local businesses compete without fighting slow broadband, and making sure people in smaller towns and villages can access the same reliable full fibre you’d expect in Scotland’s biggest cities.

The rollout forms part of Project Gigabit, with GoFibre helping connect around 63,000 hard-to-reach premises across the North East.

We’re also really proud to be backing the local community in Longforgan through a new partnership with Longforgan Bowling Club 💚
The sponsorship will provide new competition jackets for players and see us become a named sponsor for the 2026–2028 seasons.

Because for us, it’s never just about broadband. It’s about investing in the communities we build in.

If you’d like to see when GoFibre’s coming to your area, check your postcode or register your interest at gofibre.co.uk

It’s World Bee Day, so naturally we had to give a shout-out to our favourite bee… Rosie 💚
Digby might usually be the one stealing the limelight, but today belongs to Rosie and the bees.

Bees do an incredible job for the ecosystem, helping flowers bloom, crops grow, wildlife thrive, and keeping the countryside looking the way it should.

Here’s a few tips to help out the bees:
1. Let wildflowers grow where they can
2. Try not to disturb bees or nests, if you spot them
3. Put out a tiny bowl of water on warmer days to keep bees hydrated
4. Plant bee-friendly flowers if you’ve got the space - lavender and wildflowers are always a good shout.

And remember, bees are usually far more scared of you than you are of them!
So here’s to Rosie… and all the Rosies out there quietly carrying the countryside on their tiny little backs 🐝

Mel’s turn in the hot seat 👀

We’ve put her through a quick-fire round to see what she’s really like off the clock… and it turns out it takes three alarms (plus her cat) to get her up, and her current video choices are… a bit rogue.

We’re still trying to process that one. 😅

Right… Mini Digby’s got the keys now!

We had a feeling he wouldn’t sit still for long, and now he’s off exploring the communities we’re connecting.

Keep your eyes peeled over the next weeks and see if you can guess where he’s popped up next.

We’ll be picking some correct guesses along the way to receive a Mini Digby and a handwritten note from the team. 🥰
