Turns out you can get city-speed broadband without actually living in the city.
Across North East Scotland, some of the first homes and businesses in Angus, Perth & Kinross and Aberdeenshire are now officially going live on the GoFibre network 💚
Families, farmers and local businesses in places like Ezdell, Inverbervie and Longforgan are among the first connected, with Auchenblae and Letham also expected to go live later this month. And honestly, this is what it’s all about for us.
Helping rural communities stay connected, helping local businesses compete without fighting slow broadband, and making sure people in smaller towns and villages can access the same reliable full fibre you’d expect in Scotland’s biggest cities.
The rollout forms part of Project Gigabit, with GoFibre helping connect around 63,000 hard-to-reach premises across the North East.
We’re also really proud to be backing the local community in Longforgan through a new partnership with Longforgan Bowling Club 💚
The sponsorship will provide new competition jackets for players and see us become a named sponsor for the 2026–2028 seasons.
Because for us, it’s never just about broadband. It’s about investing in the communities we build in.
