A lot goes on behind the scenes at a race like the AJ Bell Great South Run, and this year marked our 20th year supporting it 🙌

Working with The Great Run Company, Victoria from our Hire team managed the project and stayed on site all weekend to issue radios, resolve issues and monitor coverage across the course. She worked alongside Chris, who oversaw the infrastructure from the control room after installing it earlier in the week 🔊

An amazing weekend and an excellent event to finish the running season 🏃‍♂️😊

Comms covered at the Royal Parks Half Marathon 🧡

Over the weekend, we supported London Marathon Events at the with 570+ two-way radios. Our Hire Project Lead, Victoria Greenaway, managed radio sign-out and returns on site, while Hire Project Coordinator Chris Dobbas installed and monitored the system throughout.

Great work from our Hire and Workshop teams, and congratulations to everyone who ran and chased those PBs.

Now the control room can pull up body-worn and fixed camera footage together, search for a specific person, and listen back to the radio calls.
