MINDSET - If you look hard enough there are always things to smile about.

It’s a bit dreary, weather is sh*te and life throws us all some curveballs. However there’s a certain joy to this time of year and things to be discovered when life gets bumpy.

We reevaluate. We regroup. We wear fluffy socks!!!

Oh, and bring on the open fire & pj days!

My post this morning was going to be all about living to our values - brought on by me considering what on earth I was doing as we drove to Headcorn yesterday. However, the video just has to be shown to thank all of you who donated to help

If the fundraiser brings a smile to their members faces they way the video is likely to bring one to yours, then I've done a good job.

Points to note -
Sitting on runway - thankfully I have no clue what the pilot is saying, I have to communicate by arm signals.
6:04 - reality starts to hit.
9:45 - the pilot's got the measure of the bits I hate!
11:02 - I nearly duck out - it gets very windy!

I DID IT! Not quite the serene experience I was trying to manifest in my head but I didn't have to get the pilot to bring me down early! 10 minutes is a LOOOOOONNNNGGGG time when you're not sure what's coming next.

Anyhow, thank you to all of you that have sponsored me - the video of the 'walk' itself will follow.

It's been a constant level of busy at the Toucan52 offices, and we are always grateful for this.

HOWEVER, we are even more grateful when not only the assistant is well enough to come to work for a few hours, but her other half (aka potential new son-in-law) turns up with a little picnic hamper lunch for the workers.

He's been very well briefed, pom bears (total favourite), the token 1 of 5 a day and a cheeky mid afternoon snack in there too. Hydration packed in as well, he thinks of everything!

A happy Toucan clan this afternoon, and fuelled for the days ahead.

Ok, so this isn't that 'quick' a video - that's because I hate filming myself!

This is the face we make when we see a client’s rankings heading back in the right direction!

A new client came to us through a referral after seeing a significant drop in their website rankings and traffic.

And this one took a little detective work - actually it's been a total pain in the proverbial!

There wasn’t one obvious problem to fix. We had to delve into what had happened, uncover some underlying issues – including a huge spam problem – and work through them carefully.

For a while, there wasn’t a dramatic overnight change but we kept making tweaks.

Then today we checked the data and thank goodness IT'S TURNED A CORNER!!

Rankings are returning, visibility is climbing and we’re seeing a significant upturn in enquiries.

SEO isn’t always about chasing the number one spot. Sometimes it’s about working out why a website that used to perform well suddenly doesn’t – and knowing where to look to start putting things right.

There’s still plenty of work to do, but this is definitely an excited toucan moment!

If your website traffic or Google rankings have dropped and you’re not sure why, it might be worth taking a closer look.

In 2 weeks time I'll hopefully have done something a little out of my comfort zone and helped support the work of Kangaroos.

I'm so incredibly grateful to everyone that's donated so far... I made my target 'ambitious' but am chuffed to bits with where it's at already.

If you can spare a few £ it would be hugely welcome and I'll even agree to let the video go public! I'm quite certain these will be the most unflattering images of me EVER!
