Hibiscus Events - logo & branding launched and in full bloom 🩷🌺

Inspired by the hibiscus flower, we created a bespoke illustrated mark using expressive brush strokes to give the identity grace, movement and personality.

Paired with a clean sans-serif font & softened at corners to make this a unique wordmark, the brief was to be vibrant but elegant.

The logo variables were designed to flex effortlessly across print, merchandise and large-scale applications, while staying bold, joyful and unmistakably Hibiscus.

Flipin' eck! This clever campaign by BBH London featured in The Drum.
It's a testament to Tesco's confidence in its brand identity that even without the traditional lettering, we instantly recognize those signature blue chevrons.

The text lists “Flour, eggs, milk, lemon, sugar, Tuesday,” reinforcing the simplicity of making pancakes while tying in the day of celebration.

🌍 Why Hiut Denim Wins Again 🖤

This year, nailed their anti-Black Friday campaign in the most impactful way. Instead of pushing discounts, they dropped a powerful reminder: 2024 was the warmest year on record.

No flashy sales. No unnecessary consumption. Just a wake-up call to think deeply about our choices and their impact on the planet. 🌱

Hiut’s message goes beyond jeans. It’s about buying less, buying better, and supporting brands that prioritize quality over quantity. Their ethos? Make things well, so they last—and keep unnecessary waste out of landfills.

📚📖 East Grinstead is in the 1% of the few stores chosen to showcase the new version of WHSmith logo on UK shopfronts. Looking very similar in both typeface and colour palette to the NHS, we think it is ill-thought-through. But what are your opinions?

WHSmith’s new logo design has caused confusion and dismay, but offers some lessons for brands in how to handle an identity rollout
