After 18 months of teaching in temporary classrooms due to RAAC in the main school building one of our IT support schools was finally able to move back home.

Over the recent two-week Easter Break, we carried out a full migration, relocating the school IT infrastructure, audio visual solutions and new Wi-Fi points out of temporary housing, and back into the main building. To complete the project, we installed a comprehensive Hikvision AcuSeek CCTV solution across site – an efficient and powerful search and find solution.

All in all:
> 21 interactive classroom screens installed with new USB C and HDMI connections
> 128 computers moved into new IT suites
> HP Aruba network switches with VLAN configuration
> 35 Wi-Fi access points reinstated and configured
> 67 Hikvision AcuSeek IP cameras
> New Fibre Links with redundant routes for resilience

Wake, Teach, Sleep — Automated PC Management in Action

At one of our schools, we tackled a common challenge: the daily task of switching on computers at the start of class. With 30 students powering up their PCs at once, valuable teaching time was slipping away - not to mention the energy costs.
