The hype is absolutely right. The GTX 1070 is a monster. It was totally shocking just how good this is. You can play every single game that is out now on ultra settings at 60 fps with no issue whatsoever.

I have yet to try the GTX 1060, but from this, and reading all benchmarks of that card, I think you should have similar results.

All in all.... The 10 series Nvidia cards are in fact a total game changer, literally.

Well I have a Nvidia GTX 1070 ordered, and will be getting this on Wednesday. I will let you know if the hype is actually a real thing.

Once again, I would advise NOT to buy a gaming computer unless it is absolutely necessary, because over the next few weeks I anticipate massive drops in prices and new additions to the current choice of selection.

**** GTX 1060 NEWS ****

The GTX 1060 will have 6GB of GDDR5 VRAM @ 1.7GHz
The founders edition has a RRP of £275 and other card manufacturers will be selling this from as low as £239.99.

With no full benchmarks released, I can only assume, but this card will offer the same performance as a GTX 980 if not more.

The power consumption is only going to be 120w, which is amazing for the specifications of this card.

I know this is now considered an entry level card, but wow. This is going to be a game changer for years to come!

Nvidia have just announced their new entry level GTX 10 series card, the GTX 1060. The only price announced is for North America which the RRP for this little beast is $250-300 USD. The release date is going to be the 19th July. I would advise holding off any purchase of any new entry level computer or graphics card until this is released. I will keep this page updated when more information is available.

Nvidia are releasing their new flagship GPU on the 27th. The GTX 1080 will be more powerful than 2 GTX 980 cards, and also for a fraction of the price! Full prices are sketchy at minute (I only know the US $ prices), but I know that they are much cheaper than any current card. I will be putting these new cards into my gaming rigs. Stay tuned, and I will keep you updated with any news.

If you are thinking of getting a new gaming computer within the next few weeks, I would advise you to wait. Nvidia are releasing their new graphics cards, the 1080 and the 1070 at the end of the month and start of next. These cards are much more powerful than anything on the market currently, and to my amazement, they are cheaper too!
