What’s your iLivestock setup?

Gareth’s given his suspension weigh crate a digital upgrade with the eWeighCell, replacing the old spring-and-dial mechanism.

Connected to the eWeighCell, his eWeighDS displays weights right there on screen. It also connects to the iLivestock app via Bluetooth, so weights can be saved against each animal’s profile as he works.

And how does the app know which sheep’s in the crate? Scan its EID tag using a compatible reader connected to the app. Yep, we work with third-party readers too, including Gareth’s Allflex RS420.

Existing crate, familiar reader, brought together by iLivestock to store his animals records.

Cattle EID is now available in Northern Ireland, but the real benefit begins once you start using their new EID number to track records.

Northern Ireland cattle farmers are now able to voluntarily use EID tags when identifying newborn cattle.

Using the eTagReader connected to iLivestock, the animal’s EID can be read and paired to a animal record in the app.

You can use the iLivestock app to record a weight or treatment, check withdrawal dates, check breeding and movement history, add notes and flags, or sort animals into management groups.

The tag identifies the animal. iLivestock helps you put that information to work.
