Details remain scarce at the moment, but officers have sealed off the area from Whitehall Street junction to the overgait.
Stay safe, everyone.

🚨 BIG NEWS: Our Future Just Got a Green Light! 🚨

We are thrilled to share that the Dundee Museum of Transport has officially secured a massive £2.7 million funding boost! 🏁✨

This investment—confirmed just days ago—is the final piece of the puzzle needed to begin the restoration of the historic Maryfield Tram Depot. This means work can now start on transforming the 1901 and 1913 sections of the depot into our world-class, permanent new home.

While we target our grand opening at Maryfield for 2027, this funding ensures that the wait is almost over. We are so grateful for the support of the Community Regeneration Partnership and the Scottish Government in making this "V&A moment" for Stobswell a reality.

💔 14 years. That’s how long "Amy" spent on the housing waiting list in Dundee before facing homelessness after domestic abuse.

Her story is the reality of Dundee’s housing emergency. Today, Shelter Scotland and the Dundee Housing Emergency Coalition are launching the HEAP (Housing Emergency Action Plan) to demand better for our community.

📉 Homeless applications are up 24%. 🏠 225 children are without a permanent home.

We can't ignore this anymore. Read the full report and find out how you can help us demand change. 👇

"Life update: I’m still here! 👋

I’ve taken a bit of a step back from the feed recently to focus on creating AI cartoons about Dundee. Sometimes you have to put the phone down to get the real work done, right?

I’ve missed this community, and I’m looking forward to catching you all up on everything soon. Hope you’re all doing amazing!"

Headline: If you were the news anchor for a day, what would you report on? 🎤

We’re starting a local filming project to cover the stories that usually get overlooked. We want to be on the ground, filming the real stuff—the good, the bad, and the neighbourhood favourites.

We want to hear from YOU:

What’s a local issue that needs more eyes on it?

Is there a local business or person we should interview first?

We’re bringing the cameras out this weekend. Let us know where we should go!
