I think every household has an unpaid IT department.

And somehow…

it’s always the same person.

Nobody hired you.

Nobody trained you.

There was definitely no certification.

But somehow you’re responsible for:

Fixing the Wi-Fi.

Resetting everyone’s passwords.

Connecting the new TV.

Getting the printer to work.

Figuring out why the internet suddenly “stopped working.”

And somehow everyone waits until you’re finally sitting down to relax before asking for help.

“Can you come look at this real quick?”

Real quick.

Famous last words.

You walk over there and 45 minutes later you’re resetting a router, updating firmware, reconnecting three devices and wondering how you ended up here.

The funniest part?

You don’t even get paid for it.

2 different storage types (e.g. laptop + USB)
1 stored offsite or in the cloud.
