our shop owner Jim has been quietly waging war against one of gaming's greatest enemies...

After a mammoth sorting session, Jim has now processed a huge amount of our disc-only and cartridge-only stock, carefully double-checking whether we had spare cases available before pricing them. 💪✨

And honestly? We think these are some of the most underrated bargains in gaming. 👀

🎮 You still get exactly the same game - you don't play with the box afterall (unless you're quirky like that...).

🚨 Fresh stock drop now hitting the shelves at Doorway to Dorkness 🚨

This latest batch is an absolute mixed bag in the best possible way — retro games, handhelds, collectibles, weird little curiosities and the sort of random nostalgia you forgot existed until you saw it again.

Just some of the highlights from this intake:

🕹️ SEGA Saturn hardware and accessories - these beautiful consoles are getting harder and harder to find in good working order.

💾 Loads of Game Boy games including boxed titles and loose carts - we've had some great luck lately in finding these in wonderful condition.

🚨 One of the wildest stock drops we’ve had in a long time just landed at Doorway to Dorkness 🚨

Some of this stuff genuinely feels like a first for the shop — and with several pieces originally being exclusives to other regions and markets, we honestly don’t know when (or if) we’ll see some of it again.

Highlights from this incredible intake include:

🟩 Halo-themed & Gears of War themed Xbox systems.
🟨 Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X console
⚪ Rare boxed Xbox 360 variants
🕹️ Multiple boxed SEGA Mega Drives, including some seriously hard-to-find editions, all with their games included.

📀 Stacks of PlayStation, Xbox and retro titles
🃏 Graded & Ungraded Trading cards, collectibles and accessories throughout - who doesn't need a cuddly Hulk Hogan to sleep with!?

There’s a real mix in this one — the kind of items people ask us about all the time (including more VHS Tapes!), but rarely walk through the door in numbers like this.

A lot of these consoles and bundles were produced for limited runs or specific territories, so seeing this many together in one place is pretty special.
