Been another hot one today, but some easier issues, printer issue resolved built 4 machines today that had been order with specific requirements (2 already delivered and installed) and a new laptop delivered and all data from old hard drive recovered to new laptop.

So yes we are still here, but long days mean I don’t get much time to post on Facebook.
We are now located just outside Diss so cover new areas from Ipswich up to Norwich and thetford to beccles so if you have any computer issues or require upgrades just give us a shout.

Been quite a while since we last made a post on Facebook but it’s been rather manic and time has been short.

Not many posts lately been rather busy, so new servers rolled out for customers new mini data centre. A number of computers built to customers particular requirements built, delivered and all data transferred to new machines.
Repair and upgrade of customers laptop that pleased them as they had old software they could not get anymore.

Busy week ahead, network upgrades for a business that has been struggling with network dropping out and internet issues, some new machines ordered that have been built to customers requirements to be installed 2 new laptop screens being replaced and a fan kit assembly found for an older laptop.

Computer security.
We are starting to see a large number of these again so please be careful.
The two most common over the last few weeks we are seeing is getting an email with an attachment that has an extension (the bit at the end) that has .html
Please don’t click or open this attachment as it is a link to a website, these normally look like a bank asking you to log in. Just delete the email and empty your deleted items folder (let me know if you don’t know how)
The other one that seems to have increased is a random phone call saying they are from your ISP (internet company) sometime they will say they are from BT other time just your internet company.
Just hang up the phone, your internet company will never call you out of the blue saying you have a problem, these are scams and will get you to install remote software saying they can fix the issue for you, please just hang up the phone.

If you have clicked the link or gone through a phone call and installed something then remove the software and run a virus scan (don’t forget the free virus programs really are no good) get yourself something like malwarebytes

Been another busy week, trying to fit in work around sorting the new house out can be tiring.
Upgrade of cpu, ram and SSD to a gaming machine with one happy customer (well his Son anyway) now his games play with no issues at all.
Scam emails seem to be doing the rounds again, most common one this week seems to be allegedly from Microsoft telling you your password has expired and your account will be locked. These are scams, do not click the links.
