Monday 22 December- normal hours

This week we had an urgent request for help from one of our brand new IT trade clients. They had never worked with us before, but asked us to look at a poorly NVMe M.2 SSD on behalf of one of their important customers.

The SSD in question had failed, and whilst this in itself is not unique, the application it was running had huge implications for the busy dairy farmer who was using it to run specialist farming software for milking his herd. The data itself was crucial to monitor herd health, which cows were on medication, each individual cow's output, etc.

The SSD arrived on Tuesday morning, and was booked in, assessed, recovered and urgent data uploaded to DropBox for our client in less than 24 hours.

When data is critical, you can count on us to move fast for you (no bull) 🐄

It's a common misconception that data recovery specialists mainly work on cases for large corporates or business to recover critical information.

Whilst we do service those sectors, a lot of our work is for domestic clients who have important or sentimental information trapped on inaccessible devices.

Today, we've completed a headstack assembly change in a 7th gen iPod.... irreplaceable music which means a lot to our client. It has the same set up internally as your typical hard drive, just even teenier to work on. The image below shows heads from a standard 3.5", a 2.5" and the iPod for reference.
