Another recent iMac SSD upgrade. If your old computer is running slow and you want a very cost effective and significant performance upgrade, cloning your old mechanical drive to an SSD is the way to go!

Something mildly interesting (if you enjoy watching solder melt) to kick off my possibly slightly more regular Facebook posts.

Had an Asus laptop in recently where the lights were on but nobody was home - no display on the screen, and no response to the power button being pressed other than the power indicator changing colour briefly.
There were no obvious signs of issues, so I suspected a BIOS problem - this video shows the process of removing the BIOS chip and reprogramming it. Turned out to be a successful repair, so happy days!

So it turns out i'm pretty bad at updating my page.
