Alton Valley is looking for a Junior Technical Support to join the growing team. We are a small IT organisation making a big difference and we need drive and passion to help us grow!
During 2021, we have a number of IT projects to deliver for our blue-chip manufacturing organisation within Derby. Alton Valley is trusted to deliver success on a fixed price and fixed schedule basis.
The role of the successful applicant would involve:
Receive helpdesk incidents from the IT helpdesk portal that have already been triaged.
Monitoring application availability
Investigate incidents and resolve/transfer to appropriate teams
Highlight any improvement opportunities to the project managers
Support the Project Manager with their individual projects
Assist with technical documentation creation
Report issues as they arise and provide recommendations to resolve
Experience with technology or technology support preferred
Willingness and enthusiasm to learn new systems
Ability to develop knowledge and applying new skills
Motivation to be a team player
High commitment to focus and detail orientation
The role would suit an individual with experience within an IT helpdesk/incident resolution looking for a new challenge.
While the role is looking for people with helpdesk/incident resolution experience, this is desirable. If you have enthusiasm and willingness to learn please apply.
