These style of computers have and will always be my favorite style of PC, since they come in a range of different sizes depend on the specification. Ever since I did my work experience at Sandwich Technology School in the IT Department and was given my first ever computer which was in fact a Dell Optiplex GX260. Since then I have also gain anther Dell Optiplex GX260 Mini tower style PC.

Hello Guys I have some exciting news to inform you about regarding Mid Town Madness 2. Just would like to share with you two mods which I have performed, on my Dell Optiplex GX280 computer. Number one I have remounted the CPU heatsink and fan, plus replaced the thermal compound with Artic Sliver. Then when reseating the heatsink back onto the motherboard I have added two cable ties each side and one on the top of the fan. This increases the amount of pressure which is being put on the fan, enabling the motherboard to boot up correctly without any errors. The second modification I have made recently is I have made a USB fan using a small computer fan and just soldering a USB cable to the other end. I have attached it the chipset using loosely tied cable ties. This will decrease the chances of the chipset getting too hot, resulting the possibly the whole system overheating and working overtime. Overall I think that these are two modifications which can be made cheaply, to improve the cooling system, epically if you Dell Optiplex is suffering from the yellow light of Death. Just go Midtown Madness 2 up and running on the Dell Optiplex GX280, which is one of the main reasons for buying this little PC.
