Typography Tools!

There are various tools that help to boost the appearance of typography. The right typeface can help to complement the design it is being implemented into, but equally important is the spacing.

Here’s the difference between these 3 favoured space adjustment tools:

Kerning: The adjustment of the space between two letters/characters. Kerning adjusts spacing based on letter shapes, if the letters are too close together or too far apart they can be harder to read.

Tracking: Similar to kerning, however, tracking adjusts the spacing uniformly over the whole word or section. Increasing the tracking will create more space between the characters, decreasing has the opposite effect.

Leading: Term used for the space between lines of type. Leading is measured from baseline (imaginary line upon which text sits) to baseline.

These tools are essential to typographers and designers. Using these tools can make a big difference in how readable and legible a piece of typography is, and improve the overall look of the design.

Yet again, 5G is proving itself as a significant presence in our lives. We've had an EE advert showing that you can shave someone remotely, and now Vodafone has proved that we can get autographs from famous rugby players 8,000 miles away.

Imagine being this child watching your idol's signature appear in front of you on your favourite rugby shirt.

We recently received a Lego Model of an A.I Server that was missing parts to complete. In true A.I fashion we had, a now stable, A.I.-powered bot reply to our tweet with an interesting fact! Although it wasn't helpful, we did manage to get our model finished (with the help of another kit).
