Google is finally getting sued by US Department of Justice. The case has been centred around the Monopoly and Google's protection. Google have been paying millions to various companies to have Google preinstalled on their devices and to prefer Google over alternatives.

In summary, Google is being accused of anti-competitive tactics to gain a monopoly and to further extend it by whittling down opponents by shutting them out, or refusing to show ads from their rivals. Googles rebuttal included claiming that people use Google because they ultimately choose to, and that they aren't being forced.

A carefully deliberated choice has been made by Apple to not ship with an adapter or even EarPods to reduce their environmental footprint. This also means that on top of the new iPhone being roughly the same price as the current phones for a massive upgrade, you will have to fork out £19 for a 20W adapter to plug it into the wall. This is a deliberate choice as it will maximise profits in exchange for the upgrades as those who will have this would have had to either purchase them separately, or would have had to purchase a new iPad or 11.

It will ship with a cable so those who are buying a PS5 and Xbox Series will have a front connector USB-C, but this is part of the generalisation of Type-C. Mac and iPad has already made this leap to USB-C to make inter-compatibility at an all-time high.

For all of you Call of Duty fans out there, there has been a patch allowing you to remove certain aspects of the game on PC. This will allow it to go from not being able to fit onto an SSD, to easily doing so, reducing it down to a still large, but better 166gb. Among that, there has been a new weapon added to the Arsenal. The JAK-12, which Modern Warfare 2 fans will recognise as the AA-12. It is a devastating firearm and lives up to its lineage. Install the patch now on all platforms to be able to jump back into Warzone and level up the weapon.

The iPhone 12 has made a jump into 5G. They are offering a Mini, and a regular version, both sporting XDR Displays. They claim to sport the fastest Chip there is in a Smartphone, with splash resistance and a ceramic shield to help with those cracked iPhones everyone seems to have. An impressive rework of their cameras with improved low-light images and even including a native photo-editing app with raw data on the iPhone 12 Pro.

Incredible innovation for Apple and I can only see it going up from here as well as a host of amazing colours to suit whatever look you may need your phone to contribute to.
