We care about making telecoms as simple as possible for our customers. Every organisation we work with gets a personalised package of service and care, delivered by people with a genuine passion for helping others. Receiving an award of recognition from the ITSPA (Internet Telephony Service Providers Association) in 2018 validated our personal approach to customer care. We’re proud to be a team of

honest and sincere professionals, working hard to find solutions that fit seamlessly into the companies we serve. Our values

Family matters
Everyone who works at RPS cares about each another and wants the team to succeed. We consider ourselves a family, and extend the same level of personal care to our customers. Honesty is the best policy
We’ll always be honest about the solution that’s best for you – profit comes second to genuine, personal service. If mistakes are made and things occasionally go wrong, we do everything in our power to make them right again. Listen, understand, solve
This is the philosophy behind everything we do: listen to your story, understand the problems you’re facing, then solve them with telecoms solutions and services you can rely on.

One of the biggest misconceptions around the PSTN switch-off is that it only affects desk phones. 📞
In reality, many businesses still have analogue dependencies quietly sitting in the background.

Things like:
• alarm lines
• lift emergency phones
• door entry systems
• PDQ terminals
• fax lines
• broadband failover
• care systems

The challenge is that most of these services continue working perfectly… until suddenly they don’t.

❌ That is why the real question is not:
“Have we upgraded our phone system?”

✅ It is:
“What in our business still relies on analogue connectivity?”

There is a huge difference between the two.

At RPS, we are helping businesses identify hidden dependencies before they become operational problems closer to January 2027.

BT has taken the message about the PSTN Switch-Off mainstream, warning the public not to delay. ⏰

Here's why businesses need to pay attention:

For years, the PSTN switch-off has largely been a telecoms industry conversation.

Now BT has launched a national “Don’t Put Off the Switch” campaign aimed at the wider public.

That matters.

Because it signals we are no longer in the awareness phase.

We are in the action phase.

The businesses that leave this until the final months risk:
• rushed migrations
• limited engineering availability
• operational disruption
• discovering hidden analogue dependencies too late

The biggest danger is not that businesses are refusing to act.

It is that many are postponing because everything still appears to work today.

That is exactly the behaviour the industry is now warning against.

If your business has not reviewed what still relies on analogue lines ahead of January 2027, now is the time to start.

Telecoms fraud is no longer something happening at the edges of the network. It is becoming a coordinated, multi-channel risk affecting organisations of every size.

And the expectations of communications providers are changing.

An efficient communications system lead the Rebel Alliance to victory over the Empire!

Don't leave it too late to make the switch to VoIP and Full Fibre Broadband like Darth Vader did.

It's too late for him to save the Death Star, but it's not too late for you to improve your business' communications setup!
