It's good practice to keep your WordPress Core software up to date along with any themes or plugins that you use. WordPress have issued maintenance release 6.3.1 today, if you want to check your sites.

It's with much sadness that we bring the news that Campbell McCracken passed away on the evening of Thursday 25th May at Invergordon Hospital. He slipped away peacefully, with family around him, following a battle with cancer. Since we brought you news of the Calico sale and Campbell's illness we've had so many customers sending well wishes and asking after him, it's been lovely to see how he was so well thought of.

Campbell was always happy working behind the scenes, beavering away on the servers and problem solving. In his spare time he had a huge lust for life and the arts including his dancing, playing in his bands and painting. Such a colourful person! It's been a pleasure working with such a calm and gentle person over the last 20 years, he's going to be missed by us all.

Our thoughts are of course with his family at this time, may he rest easy..... "Tequila!"

Pleased to share our news that we received an award from The Apprentice Store to thank us for our support over the last year as both Calico UK and hostworld Internet. 🏆

The Apprentice Store is a social enterprise who trains up apprentices in much needed IT skills up here in the Highlands. 👨‍🏫👨‍🎓💻

I was also invited along to take part in their annual go-karting 🏎🏎 session. Surprisingly I managed to bag a podium spot! 🥉Amazing fun with a cracking team. Thanks again for inviting me! The video attached makes it look so much slower than it felt in the kart.

Looking forward to continuing to support the team and it won't be my last time karting either! 👍 - Kirsty
