We're thrilled to share this major milestone in our ongoing commitment to the open source White Rabbit ecosystem, with IQD now having a dedicated GitLab repository where Developers, Researchers and Collaborators can access the open source design files for an Expansion Board that brings holdover capabilities to the White Rabbit Switch v4 ๐Ÿ‡

The IQD x GitLab repository includes resources related to the expansion board - an important step forward in enhancing timing resilience and maintaining precision, even during reference signal interruptions.

This week, IQD have had the privilege of attending CERN's 15th White Rabbit Workshop in Geneva, Switzerland ๐Ÿ‡

Nick Amey, Dave C***s and Karmjit Banga were amongst the 150 delegates there - that's about 120 more attendees from last year... IQD are still excited to be a part of this growing community, all with a shared interest in White Rabbit timing!

Whilst there, Karmjit also gave an informative presentation titled 'IQD Holdover Card White Rabbit Switch V4 (WRS V4)' alongside Daniel Chung from GMV. They discussed holdover in enhanced performance oscillators, especially in relation to critical global infrastructure and networking, whilst giving an update on the current status of the project to add holdover to the White Rabbit Switch v4 Expansion Board with the support and integration of the team at CERN.
