16 people helped for free this week. Just 2 reviews in return. ⚖️
This week, I decided to count how many little jobs I did without charging. A charging port clean, a simple software fix, or some advice that saved someone an unnecessary repair.
The total was 16. All I asked was that people spare a moment to leave an honest review of their experience.
To the two people who did, a huge thank you. It genuinely means a lot. 💙
I’ll be honest, it’s disheartening when someone scans the review QR code before leaving, but the review never follows. I know life gets busy and things slip our minds but those small gestures make a real difference to a small business like mine.
Even at £10 a job, those 16 jobs would have brought in £160 this week. Some might say I'm crazy but charging someone for a quick fix or a little advice doesn’t always sit right with me, especially when I hear about the trouble they’ve already had with their tech.
I enjoy helping people. I just hope some of that support comes back the other way.
Alongside the WhatsApp problems I’ve had this year, I’ve also lost over 100 Google reviews in the past couple of months, with reviews disabled for weeks at a time. Seeing years of customer feedback disappear has been incredibly disappointing. I believe this has been sabotage by someone who doesn't like me actually being honest with people. 😂
So, if I’ve helped you, with a paid repair, a free fix or some useful advice, would you spare a minute to leave an honest Google review or a recommendation on the page? 🙏
Your words help other people decide who to trust with their devices, and they help me rebuild what’s been lost.
Thank you to everyone who takes the time to support me and my business.
