Just a little job we did for a customer in his beautiful camper conversion. Double din unit and 130mm speakers he already had at home installed in the panel above cab, linked to leisure battery, so he can enjoy some music without running the engine or worrying about the starting battery.

Customer approached with his own sub and a rev limiter for his little fiesta, so we popped it all in for him! The sealed Kenwood sub added some deep bass to the sound stage in the car.

Customer was really pleased with the end result.

Good morning guys and girls. Hope everyone is keeping well?

Customer approached me complaining of really poor bluetooth calling and not being able to use maps on the screen as the current unit didnt have a screen. I installed the new Pioneer DA250DAB into the car, complete with steering wheel interface to maintain factory steering controls and fascia to match the OEM dash.

Customer was delighted with the new unit features and how much more modern it made the dashboard.

Hi everyone! I hope your all keeping safe.

We are finally back open and installing again! (Following social distancing guidelines though!)

Today we installed some aftermarket DRL headlights into a lush little ibiza.

These lights really set the car off and gave the car DRL LED strips similar to the highest spec later FR models.

Customer was very pleased with the end result!

Hi everyone, I hope you're all keeping well.

It goes without saying that during this difficult time, we have suspended all ongoing work whilst the lockdown is in effect.

This wasnt an easy decision, but we felt it was the right one for the health and wellbeing of our customers and all our families.

The rate and the ferocity in which this Covid-19 pandemic has swept the nation has taken everyone by surprise. So we urge everyone to please follow guidelines set by government.

During our downtime, we will continue to acquire parts for work booked in and will continue to work on the projects underway from home, so that as soon as it is safe to do so, the jobs booked can be completed promptly, with as little waiting for our customers as possible. Thank you for your patience, we really appreciate it and are very grateful you chose us.

Finally, we would just like to say a MASSIVE thank you to the amazing work of our NHS staff, healthcare workers and all other front line staff whom, without you, this nation would have ground to a halt. THANK YOU! ❤

Good morning all!

Installed a pioneer 3300dab into a ford mondeo.

Customers contacted us regarding DAB radio, as his DAB adapter wasn't much good and didn't look to nice perched on the dash with a load of wires running all over. They also wanted the ability to talk hands free over bluetooth if an important call came through.

Installed this pioneer 3300dab unit, retaining full steering wheel controls and adding bluetooth and DAB radio to the vehicle.

Hi everyone! Hope you are well.

Customer contacted me to install a double din Pioneer head unit into his beautiful Porsche 911. He absolutely loves the car, but felt it needed some of the creature comforts we have grown to expect from modern vehicles such as bluetooth with audio streaming, whilst adding in Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for his phone.

Installing into the 911 is a challenge, as the heater controls need to be relocated and the factory amp bypassed to get the head unit to work without the major expense of a most audio adapter to keep the factory amp, which is the weak spot of the system anyway!

We relocated the heater controls, added a fli 4ch 800w amplifier into the system and installed his Pioneer stereo, and travelled to him so he didn't have to change his plans! Customer was delighted with the upgrade and couldn't believe the sound quality improvement.

Hi guys and girls! Hope you are all well.

Yesterday, we had a beautiful BMW 4 series in for new rear speakers, a Pioneer head unit and an Alpine R series subwoofer in a bespoke enclosure built by ourselves from scratch.

Customer initially contacted us regarding the sound system in his car being very poor and not what you'd expect from a premium car by a long way. The factory underseat woofers were worse than useless and offered very little in proper bass. A proper subwoofer was needed.

As this BMW has an iDrive system, the original head unit had to be relocated to maintain all the vehicle settings, with a harness linking it to the OE harness.

A new Pioneer unit was installed, giving DAB, Apple carplay and Android Auto and a MUCH improved soundstage. FOCAL coaxials were installed to replace the TERRIBLE factory speakers! The Pioneer amp was installed in the storage under the boot carpet and setup, before installing the Alpine subwoofer above it, leaving a clean, wire free install and a boot that can still be used thanks to the grille on the subwoofer and it's shallow depth, whilst still able to hit right down to 31hz 😎

Hi guys and girls! I would just like to wish everyone a very happy Valentines day on behalf of CarSounds North East.

It was business as usual for us with a full set of Focal speakers installed into a lovely little mk4 Clio.

I'd done work on this vehicle before, including replacing the factory speakers with Pioneer units and installing a bespoke double subwoofer enclosure in the boot. The Pioneer speakers I'd originally fitted were coaxial units as the original setup didn't have tweeters (a 2015 car with no tweeters 🤢) and were good, but lacked the oomph to keep up with the newly acquired bass hit!

We supplied and installed a beautiful Focal Access Performance set of speakers into his vehicle, with coaxials in the back but most importantly, components in the front with pod mounted tweeters on the door panel.

The sound difference was incredible, with the Focal speakers able to handle much, much more power and offering a beautiful open and clear soundstage.

Customer was absolutely delighted with the result.
