A little off grid solar project for farm security where the shed is a distance from the main steading and there is no electricity. The system can take another 2 of the 505 watt panels for future proofing!

Another Starlink install with a Ubiquiti router and Hikvision cameras in time for calving. Ubiquiti routers are extremely good for allowing us to remotely manage the network and perform firmware updates and change settings as needed.

SECURITY 👮

We spent lots of money on security, more than I planned 😂….

We have got a whopping 15 cameras on site which record all the data for around a month.

The cameras stream live on a 42 inch tv in reception and can been seen from the groomers! They are all available to Nick and i on our phones too!

We then spent more money on a secure door! That means that we have a magnetic locking system! It can take around 600lb of force, is opened by me and my magic button, or a special keypad with a code and a camera! (Pictured)

I can lock down this door from anywhere I am, meaning that even if you have a code I can lock it completely and no one can gain access.

This magnetic door is in addition to the secure aluminium doors with Proteq10 locks that we already had in place… but I can’t remember all the facts on those right now!

It may sound like overkill, but one of my biggest fears is dogs getting stolen! Especially when they aren’t my own.

Next up we have an additional key pad from
Reception to the dog corridor.

This is only accessed by staff and means that if someone’s comes into reception or is waiting for a dog in the groomers, well they can’t access or disturb your dogs!

The other doors to the building are all behind a solid 6ft fence, are under CCTV and are all high security lockable doors!

All of the cameras and mag locks were fitted by David Flatman at StockCam UK and provided by Hikvision…. The actual doors, windows and internal keypad were fitted and sourced by MTW Joinery & Building!
