Had a very weird and wonderful job in this week. What do you notice about this motherboard I've just fitted? It's an enterprise-grade AM5 socket motherboard with a 32-bit PCI slot (predating PCIe, 1992!) fitted with a 9th generation Ryzen processor.

This is in order to provide a powerful computer that can reliably run audio engineering software while also facilitating a very old PCI card that is crucial for this customer's work.

You won't find support or a PC off the shelf like this at the big stores, that's for sure! Shop local x

Sometimes I think "I won't need this IDE hard drive recovery equipment any more, surely" and consider removing it all from the rack. Other times, I get two recovery jobs from 00s-era hard drives in one week...

Best to be prepared, I guess! You never know what might happen from one day to the next in this job

It's Coalville Pride at Coalville Park today (1st August) 🎉️ Pop along, hopefully I'll see you there! Lots of stalls, activities, performances, and good vibes for all to enjoy with free entry ❤️
