We recently received a call out to a local school as the Paxton intercoms at the main gate had failed.
This was creating problems with reception not being able to let students and visitors in and out of the premises.
We attended the site and quickly diagnosed the fault.
Unfortunately, the previous system maintainer had left the covers of the ACU's allowing water ingress which had a detrimental effect on the circuit boards.
We were able to quickly source the spare part required and got the intercoms operational.
We gave the units a clean and replaced the covers, leaving everything as it should be found.
Following this we are now booked in to do some additional work on the Paxton system and will provide the Business Manager with a report and recommendations for the system going forward.
If you have a Paxton system that needs attention or would like to discuss the benefits of installing an access control system, please contact us. [email protected]
