The AI arms race just got a lot more expensive: Anthropic has signed a $35B compute deal with Nvidia (via data-center operator Lambda) for a new Texas facility — and that's on top of a separate $45B Nscale contract in West Virginia.

That's roughly a dozen agreements with Google, Amazon, AMD and others since spring, over $130B in total.

And Nvidia is also on the investor side, with a $105B guarantee backing OpenAI's Ohio buildout. Some call it circular financing. We call it the biggest land rush in tech history. 🤖
