We’ve been getting a lot of support queries regarding the haptics/notifications on iOS 17 and how it has been defaulted to a quiet ‘blip’.

An update has been released to fix this and to do so, firstly make sure your device is updated to the latest version, iOS 17.2.1. This can be done in Settings > General > Software Update > Install

Once this has been updated, go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Default Alerts > Take off Rebound (Default) and choose your own alert

That’s it done!

Last Friday, Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice raised an incredible £4,500 with their first virtual pub quiz, a not insignificant amount during these tough times for charities.

There’s another chance to take part this Friday evening and all they ask is for a small donation of £21 to cover the wages of a nurse for 1 hour.
