My first customer since my page has been up and running.
Luckily, I only had to go upstairs in the block of flats I live in, as the lady knew I was into computing and wondered if I could take a look at her desktop.
She was having an issue with logging on, upon boot, the profile would not log in to the local account. The error was 'User Profile Service Failed the Logon -
User Profile could not be Loaded'.
The fix was simple once I isolated any possible virus's on the system which may cause similar issues.
Turns out, for some reason or another, maybe due to the WMI service failing, the Registry keys for the 'User Profile' had defaulted to 'Temp'. Which was odd, so I had modified the Registry so that the default 'User Profile' was the Local Profile.
All fixed and now the happy customer can log in!
