Access Control
SAC Contracts offer a wide variety of access control systems from stand alone digital code locks, card or proximity readers controlling only one door, to PC based systems for offices and industrial sites with hundreds of doors and thousands of users. SAC are an approved installer of Cotag/Bewator proximity systems. Also, we have designed a system specifically for the Construction Industry, which not only controls entry and exit to site, but can also provide time attendance data to the ultimate level.
Access Control systems may incorporate local or remote timed alarms to prevent doors being propped open and to monitor usage.
For controlling access into offices, warehouse, flats, homes etc. where callers cannot be directly seen, we can provide door monitoring facilities, one way viewing of the caller and two way speech communication. Units are compact, unobtrusive and extremely secure.
PAT Testing
What is PAT Testing?
Portable Appliance Testing or PAT Testing is the process of checking electrical appliances for safety through a series of visual inspections and electronic tests.
Why do I need to have my appliances tested?
The best way of ensuring that your appliances are safe is to have a PAT test carried out on them. This is a good way for landlords to ensure that they are meeting their legal obligations to maintain high standards of electrical safety in their rented property.
We can offer this service, with all our engineers being fully qualified City & Guilds 2377-77.
Upon completion of the portable appliance inspection and testing you will receive a report that details the following.
An inventory containing each appliance type, name, location and description
A full set of test results for each appliance tested
A full list of any failed items with an explanation of their failure
A visible pass or fail label on each appliance detailing the inspection date and the inspector’s signature.
