Today is .

The theme of 2022's World Mental Health Day is 'Make mental health and wellbeing for all a global priority”.

Over the past few months Causeway has been sharing a similar message within the Construction sector, as mental health is now a serious issue.

Research shows that male site workers are up to three times more likely to commit su***de than the average male in the UK.

With that said, we ask you to join us in exploring the role that technology and football play in helping to improve wellbeing and open up conversations on construction sites.

No matter who you are, if you have experience working on-site your views and experience are valuable. We want to hear from you this World Mental Health Day via our “Mental Health Onsite” survey.

Organised in collaboration with Everton in the Community, this survey will only take a few minutes and is completely anonymous.

You or any of your connections with onsite experience can take part here:

We are all deeply saddened here at Causeway about the passing of Her Majesty The Queen. The Royal Family are in our thoughts at this difficult time.

As World Su***de Prevention Day approaches, organisations and communities (the construction industry included) are coming together to raise awareness of how we can create a world where fewer people die by su***de.

For those who work in construction, it’s time to act.

With two construction workers taking their own life every working day, and 1 in 4 contemplating su***de, there really isn’t a moment to waste when it comes to tackling mental health onsite.

In partnership with Everton in the Community (EitC), we want to explore the role that technology could play in helping to improve wellbeing on construction sites, while using the “beautiful game” to open up conversations.

If you have experience working on construction sites, you can help us to reach our goal by completing our anonymous ‘Mental Health Onsite’ survey.

Every survey entry is important, and yours could save a life this World Su***de Prevention Day.

We are delighted to announce that Causeway has acquired Yotta, a global provider of connected asset management software and services.

The acquisition of Yotta marks another vital step on our journey to digitise the processes that underpin the construction and maintenance of infrastructure assets.

The joining of Yotta and Causeway will create a single truly integrated end-to-end solution that manages the entire asset management lifecycle for Local Authorities and their Contractors.

Phil Brown, chief executive of Causeway, said:

“Process and data integration is essential for all Local Authority contracts executed by Contractors. With our new combined offering, data will flow seamlessly between Local Authorities and their Contractors in one single end-to-end solution, ensuring the needs of all stakeholders are met without compromise.”

Nick Smee, chief executive of Yotta, said:

“I am confident that this combining of two UK-based sector leading software businesses will be a positive and exciting one for our existing customers, the many new users we hope to add over the coming months and years, and for our continued innovation in asset management solutions.”

Lorraine Baillie recently spoke with us about County Contractors' plans to digitise its forms, automate workflows and store its expansive library of forms in on place – and they’re using Causeway Ermeo and Causeway Docs to do it.

As IT & Telecommunications Manager, Lorraine talks about the challenges that led to choosing these two solutions.

It’s all about taking back control and replacing workarounds by making digitisation part of their future.

Lorraine said:

"I'm hoping that the solution we implement will enable our site-based users to easily access their everyday work tasks via their mobile devices whilst giving them a uniformed digital platform.

"There are multitudes of ways that the implementation is going to help everybody."
