The team have spent this Saturday supporting Kidwelly Carnival 11th July 2026 - we used the opportunity to test the field communications within our new Mobile Trials Capability by providing WiFi for all the organisers and traders in the main festival field. Everything worked well for both us and the event and the weather was glorious.

Fantastic to see Dunn Motorsports at the first race of the season today - we are very much looking forward to this new partnership where we will not only be supporting the racing but also looking at the Human Factors aspects and seeing how we can increase that human edge 🙂

Today Barry and Amanda were at the Welsh Government offices for the launch of the Wales Defence and Security Cluster.

Led by Leanne Connor and Stephanie Eden, we had a number of speeches including Rebecca Evans and Jo Stevens.

There were panel discussions on how the cluster could work and some networking opportunities. As a company we will be doing all we can to support the cluster and hoping it delivers.

When we took Hwbbub to Kidwelly Market - Marchnad Cydweli in July to test the idea, we asked the traders to give us feedback. This is what they said:

Today the team were at Kidwelly Market - Marchnad Cydweli to test Hwbbub, our modular Satcom Wi-Fi system. We provided a mesh Wi-Fi for the traders to be able to utilise mobile and card payments in a notorious mobile black spot.

If you were one of the traders and want to give your feedback, then do fill out our survey-

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the recent questionnaire on the use of Smart Technologies in Kidwelly from a resident and visitor perspective - That has now closed and I wanted to share some of the immediate reflections on what you have told us. These are 6 outcomes on what you have told us.
Keen to have your thoughts!

Do you run a business in Kidwelly? We would appreciate your views on how Smart Technologies could, or currently do, influence decision making within your business.

We have been supporting Kidwelly, a town in the Cyngor Sir Gâr - Carmarthenshire County Council area to support their developing Smart Town ambitions.

The survey takes 5-10 minutes and will help us get a much better understanding of how "Smart Towns" data can help businesses thrive in Kidwelly.
