Halifax Historic Market is one of the North of England’s most distinctive markets, and we’ve been working with Calderdale Council to implement their new wayfinding scheme throughout the Grade II* listed site. The new scheme utilises digital screen kiosks, illuminated signage and wayfinding elements.

We took a strategy and design concept that already existed on paper and turned it into a real-world solution across the historic town centre.

🚶There’s no excuse for getting lost in Hinckley town centre any more. And while you’re enjoying a stroll around, you’ll learn plenty about the history of the town too. One thing we learned while working with Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council on this town-wide wayfinding scheme is what a “Jitty” is...

Visible enough to be useful, durable enough to withstand years of public use, and clear enough to genuinely help visitors find their way.
