Only one more sleep to go until Canterbury Gaming Convention; we're very excited to see all of you!

The team and some very kind helpers have been hard at work today getting everything prepared for the grand opening of CGC tomorrow, and we're here to share a few sneak-peeks at the progress!

With all this lovely weather and many events going on this month, we just wanted to remind you all about our lovely kitchen menu! (and our fully air conditioned rooms!)

Whether you are stopping by to play a boardgame, card game, a role playing game or just visiting our shop, our lovely (cool) gaming spaces are available for you!

Pokémon World Championships 2026 are coming soon! Come celebrate with us!

Join us for two celebration tournaments, one for VGC at 6:30 pm on Wednesday 26th August, and one for TCG at 11:30 am on Sunday 30th August! There will be special Worlds themed promos and prizes and both events, including a type-effectiveness chart screen cleaning cloth for VGC and sets of TCG accessories for the TCG event!

POKÉMON AT CANTERBURY GAMING CONVENTION

We're bringing plenty of Pokémon with us to Canterbury Gaming Convention this weekend, including a great selection of sealed products and a few things you don't see on the shelves very often.

We'll have some special releases available at or close to RRP, alongside a small selection of rare and limited items at current market prices.

What exactly are we bringing? We're keeping that secret until the show...

To keep things fair, limited stock will be split across both Saturday and Sunday, with purchase limits on selected items so more people get a chance to pick them up.

Our highlight this week is, of course, Canterbury Gaming Convention 2026! We have a special quiz running at the venue Friday evening, as well as an MTG chaos draft, and then the event will be in full swing 10-10 on Saturday and 10-5 on Sunday! There’s so much going on, this is not an event to miss!

Of course, we still have our standard weekly events running at the store this week, so come on down, and you can even pick up your CGC ticket and avoid the booking fee!
